Three Shots

Mary and I had just gotten out of her truck at the mall when I spotted this happy couple. Scenes like this is one reason I wear my camera perpetually around my neck. Click here to see the original shot, in which they're a tiny part of the sky background.

The dragonflies were quite cooperative in giving me a good profile shot, though it took me a couple of minutes to track them successfully. They separated a few seconds later.



I was getting ready to make a new pot of coffee when I noticed the can lid smiling at me, complete with the center dimple as a nose. This is a completely accidental pattern.

I've also been playing with staples.
